Thoughts & Actions

Commit your actions to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established… Proverbs 16:3

About Me

I’m still pondering whether to begin a separate blog or not on pastoral matters, as this blog site is more cultural, theological, ecclesiological, and personal rants. Until I decide, I’ll keep plodding along here.

  3. Just found your site. Rockville! I used to pastor in Bethesda, real close to White Flint (Mall at the time). Now in Richmond, VA.

When I have some time I’ll check out your site in more detail. In the meantime, blessings … and Aloha!

  6. Monergism is listed under the “Puritan Studies” section. And Sovereign Grace is listed under the “Recommended Sites” just below the “Puritan Studies” section. And you are correct that they are great ministries. Thank you.

  7. I have been trying to find some information regarding the doctrinal beliefs of the Regular Baptists during the late 19th and early 20th century. My mother (who died in 1985 at age 88)was raised Regular Baptist, but converted to another viewpoint during the 1930s. I am attempting to write the story of her life, and it would be so very helpful if I could understand what she believed as a young girl and into adulthood, especially concerning the “Tribulation,” the Second Coming of Christ, and the millenium. Would you kindly enlighten me on those points?
    Thank you very much.
